As the second coming of the Lord approaches, news of the world’s end increases.

Throughout the Church age, most see Daniel and Revelation as two major prophetic books in the Bible. For this reason, many have attempted to lift the veil on these two books to find mysteries concerning the Last Day of the Lord. As a result, one after another has fallen into the pit of date-setting for the Second Coming of Christ.

Rather than as prophetic books, Daniel and Revelation should be better received and used as two key handbooks for a full course of Christian growth, from the new birth to maturity. Granted these two books do contain prophetic mysteries concerning the End Times, but we can only comprehend those mysteries from these two angles: (1) God’s eternal plan and (2) a matured Christian life to live out this plan. Only then we can say that we have collected all diamonds in the rough from these two books.

Because of the mercy and special arrangement of the Lord, we can publish this little book “The Sword for the End Times (I): Dividing Truths in Daniel & Revelation” today. This book was written in a format similar to “Streams in the Desert” – each day’s message is short and independent, giving readers more reflection room, but the assembly of all daily pieces presents a full picture of one big puzzle.

This book was born based on the original meanings of the and Greek words in the Bible. At least seven tools are used to produce this book: (1) Old/New Testaments with Strong’s numbers, (2) an improved Strong’s Hebrew/Greek dictionary of the Old/New Testaments, (3) Old/New Testaments Hebrew/Greek word roots and families, (4) Old/New Testaments Hebrew/Greek word concordance, (5) the English concordant vocabulary of the Old Testament, (6) Analytical Hebrew/Greek Old/New Testaments, and (7) Numbers & Roots of Numbers in the Bible. The goal is to maintain the integrity, consistency and inerrancy of the Old and New Testaments in their original languages.

Some messages perhaps are in great contrast to what you’ve seen and heard. However, if you have a calm, objective and teachable spirit, you will not miss the Holy Spirit’s spot light of mercy, heart-felt gentle touching, and call for true repentance. In the eve of the Christ’s Second Coming, nothing is more important than a better understanding of this central theme of the Gospel in the Bible: direct correlation between the “salvation by the Cross” and the “Millennial Jubilee.”

In fact, the answers to questions such as at what hour Jesus will come and what day is the End of the World are not that important any more. What important are these questions: what must happen before and at the End? Where are you going to be ended up with after the Lord comes back – to be with God or to be casted in the lake of fire?
